The Direxion Daily Consumer Staples Bull 3x Shares (NEED) seeks to achieve daily investment returns, prior to subtracting fees and expenses, that are three times (300%) the daily performance of the Consumer Staples Select Sector Index. To meet this objective, the fund typically allocates a minimum of 80% of its total assets to financial instruments and securities directly tied to the index, exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that track the index, and various other financial tools designed to provide magnified daily exposure to the index or its related ETFs. The underlying index comprises U.S.-based companies within the consumer staples sector, encompassing industries like food and staples retailing, household products, food products, beverages, tobacco, and personal care items.
