MillerKnoll Shares Rise 6% After Earnings Beat and Upbeat Third-Quarter Outlook

MillerKnoll Inc. (NASDAQ: MLKN) reported second-quarter fiscal 2026 adjusted earnings that topped analyst expectations and issued a stronger-than-anticipated outlook for the third quarter, sending shares more than 6% higher intra-day on Thursday.

The furniture manufacturer posted adjusted earnings of $0.43 per share for the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $0.41. Revenue totaled $955.2 million, slightly below analyst expectations of $962.47 million and down 1.6% year over year. On an organic basis, sales declined 2.5% from the prior year.

For the third quarter, MillerKnoll forecast revenue in a range of $923 million to $963 million, exceeding the consensus estimate of $909.6 million. Adjusted earnings were projected between $0.42 and $0.48 per share, above the $0.41 expected by analysts.

Despite the revenue decline, the company reported order growth of 5.5% to $972.5 million, with increases across all business segments. Gross margin improved by 20 basis points to 39.0%, while adjusted operating margin declined to 5.9% from 7.1% in the prior-year quarter.
