Integra LifeSciences (NASDAQ:IART) makes medical products used in surgery and wound care. Wells Fargo analyst Larry Biegelsen lowers his price target for the stock to $15 from $18. Integra LifeSciences trades at $12.68 when he sets the target, putting the price about 18.3% below his new estimate of its value.
The lower target follows a cut to Integra LifeSciences’ 2026 outlook after July flooding disrupts its Cincinnati operations, as highlighted by Proactive Investors. Integra LifeSciences now expects revenue of $1.634 billion to $1.654 billion, down from $1.654 billion to $1.695 billion. Its adjusted earnings forecast falls to $2.30–$2.40 per diluted share from $2.40–$2.50.
Integra LifeSciences’ preliminary, unaudited third-quarter estimates call for revenue of $410 million to $412 million and adjusted earnings of $0.55–$0.59 per diluted share. “Adjusted” earnings exclude certain costs to show the company’s view of its ongoing performance. CEO Stuart Essig says better visibility into the Cincinnati facility’s recovery informs the reduced full-year outlook.
Despite the weaker forecast, Integra LifeSciences expects operating cash flow—the cash its business generates from regular activities—to exceed $85 million in the third quarter and reach approximately $190 million to $200 million for the year. The company also proposes a $600 million, seven-year loan to refinance existing debt, subject to market conditions.
Integra LifeSciences is down $3.41, or 21.19%, at $12.68. It trades between $12.63 and $14.00 during the day, compared with a 52-week range of $8.70 to $20.49.
