SentinelOne (S) Beats Q2, Bernstein Raises Price Target

SentinelOne (NYSE: S) Beats Q2 Estimates as Bernstein Raises Price Target

SentinelOne (NYSE: S) is a cybersecurity company that provides AI-powered security solutions. Its Singularity platform helps organizations prevent, detect, investigate, and respond to cyberattacks across endpoints, cloud environments, identities, and other digital infrastructure.

SentinelOne shares closed at approximately $22.71 on August 27, 2026, representing a 10.73% gain during the regular trading session. However, this increase occurred before the company released its quarterly results after the market closed. The stock subsequently fell more than 5% in extended trading as investors assessed the company’s outlook.

On August 28, 2026, Bernstein maintained its Outperform rating on SentinelOne and raised its price target to $21 from $19. This was a price-target increase rather than a rating upgrade.

For its second quarter of fiscal 2027, SentinelOne reported non-GAAP diluted EPS of $0.08, exceeding the consensus estimate of $0.07 and doubling from $0.04 in the corresponding quarter last year. On a GAAP basis, however, the company reported a diluted loss of $0.27 per share, compared with a loss of $0.22 one year earlier.

Revenue reached approximately $291.98 million, up 21% from $242.18 million in the prior-year period. The result also exceeded the top end of management’s guidance and came slightly above the consensus estimate of approximately $290.2 million.

Annualized recurring revenue increased 22% year over year to $1.218 billion, while the number of customers generating at least $100,000 in ARR rose 13% to 1,715. SentinelOne also achieved a non-GAAP operating margin of 10%, compared with 2% a year earlier.

The company raised its fiscal 2027 revenue forecast to between $1.202 billion and $1.207 billion. For the third quarter, management expects revenue of $309 million to $311 million, placing the midpoint at $310 million. That outlook was approximately in line with Wall Street expectations rather than materially above them, contributing to the after-hours decline.

SentinelOne has exceeded consensus EPS estimates in each of the previous four quarters. Nevertheless, the market’s reaction indicates that investors were looking for stronger forward guidance following the stock’s substantial advance earlier in 2026.
