Market Movers: GRML, QFIN, ADBT, and SYRE Fall
- Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) declined sharply after announcing a proposed $20 million public offering, raising dilution concerns.
- Qfin Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: QFIN) fell after reporting weaker Q2 revenue and sharply lower profit.
- Spyre Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYRE) declined after topline rheumatoid arthritis trial data disappointed investors.
Greenland Mines Ltd. (NASDAQ: GRML) led the decline, with its stock falling 48.09% to $5.04. The drop followed the company’s proposed $20 million public offering, which raised concerns about dilution for existing shareholders.
Qfin Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: QFIN) fell 18.91% to $9.35 after its second-quarter results showed pressure on the business. The company beat earnings expectations, but revenue missed estimates and fell 31.6% year-over-year, reflecting weaker loan demand and tighter risk controls. Non-GAAP net profit also declined sharply from the prior quarter.
Spyre Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: SYRE) also fell 12.81% to $93.61 after releasing topline results from the rheumatoid arthritis sub-study of its SKYWAY Phase 2 trial evaluating SPY072. The data disappointed investors, although some analysts noted that Spyre’s main strategic focus remains inflammatory bowel disease.
