RBC Capital Initiates Coverage on Atlassian (NASDAQ: TEAM) with Outperform Rating, Citing Strong Financials and AI Growth

An analyst from RBC Capital initiates coverage on Atlassian (NASDAQ: TEAM) with an Outperform rating. Atlassian is a software company specializing in collaboration and productivity tools. The analyst sets a price target of $215.00 for Atlassian, which was trading at $166.49. This new target represents a potential upside of 29.14% from its price at the time.

This positive outlook is supported by Atlassian's strong financial results. As highlighted by Seeking Alpha, Atlassian's fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 revenue was $1.77 billion with an adjusted EPS of $1.87, beating expectations. These strong results contributed to a 35% rally in the stock following the announcement.

Atlassian is also establishing itself as a potential leader in artificial intelligence (AI). The company is seeing rapid adoption of its AI features, particularly its Rovo AI assistant. Usage of Rovo-assisted actions experienced a 50% sequential increase, showing strong customer engagement with its new AI capabilities.

The adoption of Rovo is directly boosting revenue growth. According to Zacks Investment Research, customers using Rovo are increasing their annual recurring revenue (ARR) at more than double the rate of those not using it. ARR is the predictable revenue a company expects to receive from its customers over a year.

This performance is reflected in the company's overall growth, with subscription ARR seeing a 23% year-over-year increase in the fourth quarter. The company's core strengths are also supported by a large $67 billion Serviceable Addressable Market (SAM) and the strong market leadership of its Jira platform.
