Asure Software (ASUR) Q2 2026 Earnings: Mixed Results, Growth

Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR) Reports Mixed Q2 2026 Earnings Despite Strong Revenue Growth

Asure Software (NASDAQ: ASUR) provides cloud-based Human Capital Management (HCM) software solutions. Its services help businesses manage payroll, human resources, time tracking, and related workforce operations. The company operates in a competitive software market, offering tools designed to streamline key business functions for small and mid-sized companies.

On July 30, 2026, Asure Software announced its financial results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company reported adjusted EPS of $0.08, below the analyst consensus estimate of $0.12. This represented a negative earnings surprise and was also lower than the $0.09 per share reported in the same quarter last year.

Revenue for the quarter was $37.1 million, compared with $30.1 million in the second quarter of 2025. This represented a 23% year-over-year increase, driven by growth in recurring revenue and continued demand for the company’s payroll and HCM solutions.

A large portion of Asure’s revenue remains stable and predictable. Recurring revenue increased 19% year over year to $34.0 million, compared with $28.6 million in the prior-year period. Recurring revenue accounted for about 91% of total revenue, highlighting the company’s subscription-based business model.

Profitability also improved on several measures. Asure narrowed its net loss to $4.4 million from a net loss of $6.1 million a year earlier. EBITDA increased to $4.6 million from $1.4 million, while Adjusted EBITDA rose 48% to $7.7 million from $5.2 million.

Overall, Asure Software delivered mixed second-quarter results. The earnings miss may concern investors focused on profitability, but the company’s strong revenue growth, recurring revenue base, and improved Adjusted EBITDA suggest continued progress in its core HCM software business.
