Lam Research (LRCX) Price Target Raised Amid AI-Driven Growth

Lam Research (NASDAQ:LRCX) Sees Price Target Hike Amid Strong Financial Performance and AI-Driven Growth

Lam Research (NASDAQ:LRCX) is a company that designs and manufactures semiconductor equipment, used to create computer chips. On July 29, 2026, the analyst firm Jefferies increased its price target for Lam Research to $335.00 from $315.00. A price target is an analyst's projection of a stock's future price.

Jefferies also kept its "Buy" rating on the stock, which suggests the firm believes the stock is a good investment. This positive view is supported by Lam Research's strong financial results for the fourth quarter of 2026. Lam Research reported earnings of $1.82 per share, which was higher than the expected $1.69 per share.

The company's revenue also exceeded expectations. It recorded revenues of $6.72 billion for the quarter, beating estimates and showing a large increase from the $5.17 billion reported in the same quarter last year. As highlighted by Zacks Investment Research, Lam Research has now surpassed earnings and revenue estimates for four consecutive quarters.

Looking ahead, the company projects strong future performance. It expects first-quarter revenue to be between $7.70 billion and $8.50 billion, which is higher than what analysts predict. According to Reuters, this growth is driven by increased global spending on artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure, which requires more advanced chips.

This performance is also reflected in the company's profitability. Lam Research achieved a gross margin of 51.70% and an operating margin of 37.40% for the quarter. The company also holds a strong cash position of $5.60 billion, indicating good financial health.
