GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) Soars: Wells Fargo Raises Price Target Amid Strong Performance

GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) is a global leader that designs and manufactures jet engines for commercial and military aircraft. On July 20, 2026, investment firm Wells Fargo raised its price target on GE to $390.00 from a previous target of $325.00. The firm kept its Overweight rating on the stock.

An Overweight rating suggests an analyst believes the stock will outperform its peers. This positive outlook follows a period of strong performance for GE, where its stock price was $348.83 at the time of the announcement. The new target indicates Wells Fargo sees more room for the stock to grow.

The analyst's confidence is supported by GE's recent blockbuster quarter. The company saw double-digit growth in orders, revenue, and earnings, as highlighted by Benzinga. This strong performance prompted GE to raise its financial targets for the full year, signaling a positive outlook from its own management.

Specifically, GE's second-quarter adjusted earnings reached $2.02 per share, beating estimates of $1.86, as detailed by Zacks. Revenue for the quarter was $12.63 billion, also surpassing the consensus view of $11.86 billion. This performance was driven by a 27% increase in Commercial Engines and Services revenue.

Looking ahead, management now expects high-teens revenue growth for 2026. They also raised guidance for free cash flow to a range of $8.90 billion to $9.20 billion, as noted by Seeking Alpha. Free cash flow is the cash a company has left after paying for its operations and investments.

Despite the strong results, CEO Larry Culp stated that "the hard part isn't over." He explained that the company's main challenge has shifted from finding customers to keeping up with high demand. This indicates the focus is now on managing supply and production to meet its growth targets.
