Roth Capital Sets New Price Target for Outdoor Holding Company (NASDAQ: POWW) Amid Q4 Financial Improvements

Roth Capital set a new price target for Outdoor Holding Company (NASDAQ: POWW) at $2.75. This company is the owner of GunBroker.com, the largest online marketplace for firearms and related accessories, connecting buyers and sellers across the country, a key player in the e-commerce firearms market.

The new price target suggests a potential upside of about 17% from Outdoor Holding Company's stock trading price of $2.34 on the day of the announcement. This analyst rating comes as Outdoor Holding Company releases its latest financial performance data, giving investors a fresh look at its operational health and future investment outlook.

Despite the positive price target, Outdoor Holding Company shares fell after its fourth-quarter results were reported. As highlighted by Benzinga, Outdoor Holding Company announced a quarterly loss of 3 cents per share, which was wider than the 1 cent loss analysts expected. However, quarterly sales of $13.89 million were better than the analyst estimate of $12.70 million, as detailed in its latest Q4 earnings report.

Looking deeper into the results published by GlobeNewswire, Outdoor Holding Company shows significant financial improvements. For the fourth quarter, revenue increased by 10.1% to $13.90 million from $12.60 million in the prior year. Gross profit, which is the profit from sales after direct costs, also rose to $12.20 million from $11.00 million.

Outdoor Holding Company also made large cuts to its operating expenses, reducing them to $15.10 million from $38.00 million a year ago. This helped shrink the net loss to $1.50 million, a major improvement from the $78.30 million loss in the same quarter last year. Adjusted EBITDA, a key measure of operational profitability, increased to $7.70 million.
